Rockefeller Group Development Corporation

745 Seventh Avenue is a 1,000,000-square-foot office tower in midtown Manhattan co-developed by RGDC. The building was constructed as a build-to-suit for Morgan Stanley. Construction was completed in late 2001 and subsequently purchased by Lehman Brothers, Inc. for its new corporate headquarters. RGDC commenced regular building management and operations in December for Lehman Brothers. The outstanding design by world-renowned architects Kohn Pedersen Fox takes full advantage of the importance of the site’s strategic location, expanding Rockefeller Center to Times Square at the corner of 49th Street and Seventh Avenue. Barclays PLC has since assumed the space from Lehman Brothers.
